LOWER THIRD OVERLAY SETUP

How to create
your first lower third.

Create your first lower third, customize your branding and prepare your graphics for a production rehearsal.

01 / CREATE

Enter the speaker name and title.

Open the studio on the home page. Choose a design, enter a speaker name, and add a title or organisation. The label can describe the segment, such as “In conversation” or “Guest speaker”.

Use the colour picker to match your brand. Changes appear immediately in the preview.

02 / REHEARSE

Preview and save your lower third.

Check spelling, contrast and line length. Try a longer speaker name to see how it wraps. Select Save preset to keep the current configuration in this browser.

Your latest preset is saved in this browser. Clearing browser storage removes it; it does not sync to another computer.

03 / OUTPUT

Open the transparent overlay output.

Click Open transparent output. Keep the studio open in the same browser, then click Take live. The output tab shows the current graphic; Take off air hides it.

Both tabs need the same origin and browser storage environment. Keep them in the same browser profile. Your output updates through local browser messaging, not a cloud server.

04 / BROADCAST

Prepare your broadcast setup.

Set your production canvas to 1920 × 1080. Check your speaker names, branding and safe margins before the show, then rehearse the complete graphics workflow with your production team.

Need help connecting your graphics to OBS or vMix? Contact us about your setup so we can confirm the right output connection for your production.

Try the lower third overlay editor.
